I believe that every student should know how we as a people came to be but I also believe that students need to understand why History or Social Studies is relevant to them. Applying historical events to events that are happening in the present day can help student understand and relate to topics that are being discussed.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Utah Valley University. I am also a certified teacher in the state of Utah.

I have experience working with students in a classroom environment and also tutoring students as well. I taught a diverse group of students with different learning abilities.

In my spare time I love to do photography. I like to take pictures and learn how to use programs like Photoshop. I also love to read and anything that has to do with the outdoors.
