About Me
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I work in a motivating atmosphere, using the communicative approach where I focus on individualized learning to respond to all students needs and interests. Using the four skills to make students integrated at all levels. Diverse activities will be used to make students work in groups in pairs.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I received a degree that has equivalence in Québec to Bachelor of English according to MELS.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am a teacher of English as a Second Language. I have 10 years of teaching experience, including time working with the Common Europeans Framework. In addition, I have worked with the Cambridge and Oxford programs. I worked for an International English Language center, giving courses to beginners as well as adults to prepare them for the Cambridge tests and TOEC and TOEFEL Exams.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I work in summer school programs with students ages 12 to 18 years old, where they practice many activities. Students have a daily course of three hours where they practice English, dealing with songs, games, diverse activities such as role plays and vocabulary games. In addition, they get activities to reinforce their spelling pronunciation skills through different activities, such as: listening, dictation, drilling, and recitation.
