Students learn more easily about topics that they are passionate about learning and are relevant to their personal lives. It is the responsibilty of the teacher to foster a relationship to each student, to provide a learning environment conducive to learning and present the material in a manner that is meaningful to the students.

I have a Bachelors of arts in mathematics from University of California San Diego. While at UCSD I worked as a calculus tutor for students in need of assistance. I have obtained teaching credentials for both Nevada and California. I have been teaching in the public school system since 1999.

I have been teaching in the public system since 1999. I am currently working for a charter school in Nevada.

I am a veteran of the Gulf war. I have received Army Achievement medal and the Kuwaiti Liberation medal. While at UCSD I received Provost honors three times for academic achievement. While at Southwestern college I was placed on the Vice Presidents list 3 times for academic achievement.
