My teaching style as an online teacher is one of delegator. This type of teaching style focuses on the personal growth of the learner and is very much learner-centered. Students are encouraged to participate and play an active role in the learning process. Students are asked to contribute and to participate through critical thinking and analysis and through problem sharing and problem solving.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Theater and a Master of Science degree in Communication from Indiana State University. In addition I have an Ed.D. in Ed Foundations from the University of Cincinnati.

My leadership, administrative, program development and teaching background is in Communication, Interdisciplinary Studies and the Liberal Arts. I have extensive experience in higher education, working with diverse student populations and adult learners and faculty populations in both traditional and online learning environments.

I have served on Student Activity Committees such as the video festival, females in the media, student diversity and film.
