I am convinced that education progresses by nurturing the student through small progressive steps while being careful to encourage personal creativity as opposed to stifling it. A student must have a solid background in the basics otherwise more complex concepts will be unattainable.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree of Education from the University of Saskatchewan and am currently certified to teach in the province of Saskatchewan.

I have been a private tutor both volunteer and paid for years, even before receiving my Bachelor’s Degree. All of my tutoring experience has been in Mathematics, Physics and some Chemistry. It is what I know and love best. As a teacher, I taught junior high for five years.

In my spare time I enjoy tai chi ch’uan, Flyfishing, backpacking, studying more Mathematics and mountain biking.
