EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that each and every student has the capacity to learn. It’s a pleasure to watch a student conquer a new subject or overcome the challenges that education presents. With patience and creativity, any student can accomplish his or her educational goals. I love to be a part of the educational process and watch students grow and achieve their potential.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I am about to graduate college with a double major in Business Administration and Spanish. I have thus far earned a 3.9 GPA and have worked hard to maintain such a high GPA. Teaching is something I would love to end up doing. After graduating, I plan on earning my TESOL certification so I can teach English abroad.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I tutored math and English in high school. On a mission trip last summer, I taught English to missionary kids at an elementary school in Nicaragua. I also help my friends with their classwork here in college, mainly in business, math, and English classes.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I have been a student-athlete all four years of college. I work 20 hours a week in the school cafeteria. I’m also a part of Sigma Delta Pi, a national Spanish academic society.
STANDARDIZED TEST RESULTS
I received a score of 32 on my ACT exam.
