I believe that every student is unique and deserves a fair chance to learn. I believe that students should be offered an engaging and respectful learning opportunity. I believe a teacher’s role is to encourage a safe and consistent environment that encourages life long learners.

I worked as a substitute, K-12 all subjects, before completing my degrees. I student taught at both the elementary and high school levels. I also interned at the elementary level for a semester. I earned a B.M. in choral music as well as Master’s in Education – Divergent Learning.

I have taught public school music and drama for 8 years. I have also instructed all grades all subjects as a home bound instructor and tutor. I have also instructed in after school programs as a primary teacher and enrichment teacher.

I enjoy exercise by doing aerobics, weight training, walking and biking. I adore animals and own several. I also have a membership to the local zoo. I love to travel, especially to locales with immense history and beautiful scenery. I also love comedy and attending comedy concerts.
