EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe in adapting my lessons to students’ learning styles and preferences.  I develop interactive and multimedia lessons in order to engage students. Students learn and remember lessons when they are active participates.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Alabama and then went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education at University of Alabama. I have Waldorf teacher training and taught in a Waldorf school for six years.  I learned to incorporate art and music into my lesson plans.  
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have  taught students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grades, and I have tutored GED students and undergraduate students.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I enjoy reading, hiking, camping and badminton. I love travelling and exploring the great outdoors.  I also love teaching my children , and we dance, act, sew and paint together. My children are interested in dinosaurs, so I am now becoming a dinosaur expert.
